These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bae Tags website and your purchase of products from us. By browsing this website, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or place an order.
1. About us and how to reach us
Bae Tags ("Bae Tags", "we", "us", "our") is a brand operated by Ontodi, Partnership Firm registered in India.
- Email: support@baetags.com
- GSTIN: 33AAKFO4265F1ZA
"You" and "your" mean the person or business placing an order or using this website. If you are placing an order on behalf of a company, firm, or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Nature of our products
Bae Tags supplies custom-manufactured hang tags, labels, and related packaging products. Almost everything we make is produced to your specification - your artwork, your text, your material, size, and finish.
Because our products are made to order, they cannot be resold to anyone else. This affects your rights to cancel, change, or return an order, and those limits are set out in sections 9, 13, and 14 below. Please read them before you confirm an order.
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to place an order with us.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. The information you give us - including your billing details, delivery address, and contact details - must be accurate and kept up to date. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete details you have supplied.
4. Product information and website content
We take care to describe our products, materials, finishes, and dimensions accurately. However:
- Photographs and on-screen previews are indicative. The colour, texture, and finish of a printed product will differ to some degree from what you see on a screen, because screens vary and print behaves differently from digital display.
- Material specifications such as board thickness, weight, and shade are subject to the tolerances of the materials available at the time of production.
- We may change, update, or discontinue products, materials, finishes, or specifications at any time without notice. Changes will not affect an order we have already confirmed.
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell. It is an invitation for you to place an order.
5. Quotations and pricing
Quotations we issue are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise, and may be revised or withdrawn before you accept them.
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR). Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and of shipping charges, both of which will be shown separately before you complete payment.
Prices depend on the quantity, material, size, and finish specified. If you change any of these after a quotation is issued, the price may change. We correct pricing errors: if an obvious error in price or specification is discovered before production begins, we will contact you and you may either confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel it for a full refund of any amount paid.
6. Placing an order and order acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm the order to you in writing - by order confirmation email or by written approval of your final proof, whichever is later.
We may decline or cancel an order before that point, including where the artwork cannot be produced to an acceptable standard, where the specification is unclear or unachievable, where stock or materials are unavailable, where payment is not received or is reversed, or where we reasonably believe the order breaches these Terms or applicable law. If we decline an order after payment, we will refund the amount you paid in full.
7. Artwork, files, and proofs
Your files. You are responsible for supplying print-ready artwork that meets the file requirements we publish or communicate to you - including format, resolution, colour mode, bleed, and safe margins. We do not check spelling, grammar, phone numbers, prices, barcode data, or other content in your artwork.
Our preparation. Where we assist with artwork setup, resizing, or minor corrections, we do so as a courtesy and on the basis of the files and instructions you provide. Responsibility for the correctness of the final artwork remains yours.
Proof approval. Before production, we will send you a digital proof for approval where applicable. Please review it carefully - layout, spelling, dimensions, placement, and content. Your written approval of the proof is your confirmation that the artwork is correct and authorises us to produce it.
Once you approve a proof, we are not responsible for errors contained in the approved file, and any reprint required because of such an error will be chargeable as a new order.
If you request changes after approval and production has not yet started, we will try to accommodate them, but we may charge for the additional setup and we may need to revise the delivery timeline.
8. Your responsibilities regarding artwork and content
By submitting artwork, logos, brand names, images, text, barcodes, or any other content to us, you confirm that:
- You own the content or have all rights, licences, and permissions needed to reproduce it on the products you have ordered;
- The content does not infringe any trademark, copyright, design right, or other intellectual property right of a third party;
- The content is not unlawful, defamatory, obscene, misleading, or in breach of any applicable labelling, safety, or consumer-protection law; and
- Any claims, care instructions, compositions, country-of-origin statements, certifications, or regulatory markings included in the artwork are accurate and lawful for the goods on which they will be used.
We do not verify these matters and rely entirely on your confirmation. You agree to indemnify us against any claim, demand, loss, damage, fine, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from content you supply or from our production of it in accordance with your instructions.
We may refuse to produce any artwork we consider unlawful, offensive, infringing, or otherwise unsuitable, and we will refund any amount paid for that order if we do so.
9. Production tolerances and variation
Custom printing and finishing involve inherent variation. The following are considered acceptable and do not amount to a defect:
- Colour. Printed colour will vary from on-screen previews. Colour may also vary slightly between production runs, between materials, and across a single run. Where a specific colour reference is agreed, we work to a close commercial match, not an exact one. Uncoated, kraft, and other natural or recycled materials absorb ink differently and will shift colour more noticeably.
- Material. Natural variation in shade, texture, grain, and thickness is normal, particularly in kraft and board stocks.
- Cutting and finishing. Minor variation in trim, cut position, punch position, and finishing alignment of up to 1-2 mm is within tolerance.
- Quantity. Production runs may finish slightly over or under the ordered quantity. We aim to deliver the exact quantity ordered; where this is not achievable, a variance of up to 5% either way is acceptable, and we will bill or credit you for the difference where the variance is downward.
If precise colour or dimensional accuracy is critical for your order, please request a physical pre-production sample before we produce the full run. Samples are chargeable and will extend the delivery timeline.
10. Turnaround and delivery timelines
Production timelines quoted on the website or in your order confirmation are estimates. They run from the later of (a) receipt of cleared payment and (b) your written approval of the final proof - not from the date you place the order.
Timelines do not include transit time, and may be affected by material availability, order volume, approval delays, and events outside our control (see section 20). We will tell you if we expect a material delay. Time is not of the essence unless we have agreed a firm delivery date with you in writing.
11. Payment
Payment is processed through our payment gateway partner. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Unless we have agreed credit terms with you in writing, full payment is required before production begins.
- Card, UPI, netbanking, and wallet details are handled by our payment gateway. We do not receive or store your full payment credentials.
- Your payment is also subject to the terms and privacy policy of the payment gateway.
- Where we have agreed credit terms, invoices are payable within the agreed period, and we may charge interest at [1.5%] per month on overdue amounts and suspend production or delivery on any open order until payment is received.
- Title to the goods passes to you only when we have received payment in full.
All applicable taxes will be charged at the prevailing rate and shown on your tax invoice.
12. Shipping, delivery, and risk
We ship through third-party courier and logistics partners. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout or on your quotation.
Delivery dates given by us or by a carrier are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided, or to any person at that address who accepts the delivery.
Please check the shipment for visible damage before accepting it. If the packaging is visibly damaged, note this with the carrier at the time of delivery - it materially helps any claim.
If a delivery fails because the address was incorrect or incomplete, or because no one was available to receive it, we may charge you the cost of redelivery.
13. Inspection, defects, and claims
Please inspect your order within 7 days of delivery.
If any part of the order is defective, damaged in transit, or does not match the specification you approved, contact us within that period at support@baetags.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the goods and packaging. Please retain the goods and packaging until the claim is resolved - we may ask to inspect or collect them.
Where we accept that goods are defective or do not match the approved specification, we will at our option reprint the affected quantity or refund its value. This is your sole remedy for defective goods.
We are not responsible for issues arising from errors in artwork you approved, from variation that falls within section 9, or from storage, handling, or application of the products after delivery.
Claims raised after the inspection period may not be accepted.
14. Cancellations, changes, and returns
Before production. You may cancel or change an order before production begins. We will refund what you have paid, less any artwork, setup, sampling, or material costs already incurred on your order.
After production begins. Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once production has begun, and no refund is available.
Custom goods are not returnable. Because our products are manufactured to your specification and carry your branding, they cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind, ordering the wrong quantity, or an error in artwork you approved. This does not affect your rights in respect of defective goods under section 13, or your rights under applicable consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Any approved refund will be made to the original payment method within [7-10] working days of approval. The time your bank or card issuer takes to credit the amount is outside our control.
Where a separate Refund and Cancellation Policy is published on this website, it applies alongside this section and, in the event of conflict, that policy prevails.
15. Samples
Samples supplied before an order are provided to show material, construction, and general quality. They are indicative, not an exact colour or finish match for your production run, unless we have expressly agreed a pre-production sample as described in section 9.
16. Intellectual property
Ours. The website, its design, text, graphics, product photography, logos, and the Bae Tags name and marks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use them without our prior written permission.
Yours. You retain all rights in the artwork and brand assets you supply. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and adapt those materials only as needed to produce, package, and deliver your order.
Portfolio use. We may photograph work we produce and display it as an example of our capability. If you would prefer that we do not, tell us in writing and we will not use your work for that purpose.
17. Acceptable use of the website
You agree not to use this website to break any law, infringe anyone's rights, transmit malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or accounts, scrape or harvest data by automated means, interfere with the operation or security of the site, or place fraudulent or speculative orders.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the website or your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.
18. Third-party services and links
We rely on third parties for payments, logistics, communications, and analytics. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond our own obligations to you under these Terms.
Where this website links to third-party sites, we do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.
19. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We provide this website on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of anticipated savings, or costs arising from a delayed product launch or campaign.
- Our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order - whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise - is limited to the amount you paid to us for that order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your rights under Indian consumer protection law.
20. Events outside our control
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, war, civil unrest, strikes or labour disputes, government action or restriction, power or internet failure, raw material shortage, or failure of transport or logistics networks.
If such an event continues for more than 30 days, either of us may cancel the affected order, and we will refund any amount you have paid for work not yet produced.
21. Privacy and communications
Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
By placing an order, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone, SMS, or WhatsApp about that order - proofs, payment, production status, and delivery. These are transactional messages and are necessary to fulfil your order. Marketing messages are sent only where you have consented, and you can opt out of those at any time.
22. Grievance redressal
If you have a complaint about our products, our service, or your data, please contact:
- Email: support@baetags.com
We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours of receipt and work to resolve it within one month, in line with applicable Indian law.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Please review these Terms each time you order.
24. General
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with your order confirmation, approved proof, and any policies referenced here, form the entire agreement between us regarding your order, and replace any earlier discussions or representations.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Waiver. If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that is not a waiver of that right.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign ours to a successor in our business.
No third-party rights. These Terms are between you and us. No other person has a right to enforce them.
25. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or your order are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [CITY], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right you have under applicable consumer protection law to bring proceedings where you reside.
