Bae Tags ("we", "us", "our") makes custom hang tags, labels and packing cards to order. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use baetags.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our checkout, and the emails and messages we send you.

Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, place an order or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, billing and delivery address, company or brand name, GSTIN if you provide one, and the details of what you are ordering.
Artwork and files. Any artwork, logos, design files or specifications you upload or send us are stored so we can prepare proofs and print your order. We treat your artwork as confidential and use it only to produce your order, unless you give us permission to show it as a sample of our work.
Order and payment information. We keep a record of your orders, proofs, invoices and delivery status. Card, UPI and net banking details are entered directly on our payment provider's secure page — we never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site we and our analytics providers collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring links and similar usage data through cookies and comparable technologies.
How we use your information
- To prepare quotes, digital proofs and price estimates
- To produce, pack and ship your order, and to keep you updated on its progress
- To take payment and issue invoices and receipts
- To answer your questions over email, phone or WhatsApp
- To handle reprints, returns and complaints
- To send you offers, product updates and reminders where you have agreed to receive them
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To detect fraud and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the parties we need to in order to run the business:
- Payment gateway. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We share your name, contact details and order amount with them; they handle your payment credentials under their own privacy policy.
- Shipping and courier partners. We share your name, delivery address and phone number with the courier carrying your order so it can be delivered and tracked.
- Printing and finishing partners. Where part of an order is produced by a trusted partner, we share only the artwork and specifications needed to produce it.
- Communication and analytics providers. We use third party services to send transactional and marketing messages and to measure site usage, including Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) advertising tools. These providers may set cookies and receive limited usage data about your visit.
- Professional and legal. Our accountants, auditors and legal advisers, and any authority we are legally required to disclose information to.
Some of these providers process data on servers outside India. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is given a comparable level of protection.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember what is in your cart, and analytics and advertising cookies to understand how the site is used and to measure our campaigns. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but the cart and checkout may not work correctly without the essential ones.
Marketing messages
We send order confirmations, proof approvals, dispatch updates and similar transactional messages because they are needed to fulfil your order. Promotional emails and WhatsApp messages are sent only where you have opted in. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email, replying STOP to a WhatsApp message, or writing to us at support@baetags.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about an active order.
How long we keep your information
We keep order records, invoices and tax documents for as long as Indian tax and company law requires, currently a minimum of eight years. Account and contact details are kept while your account is active. Artwork files are kept so that reorders can be produced from the same approved file; you can ask us to delete your artwork at any time once your order is complete.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, payment data is handled entirely by our payment gateway, and access to customer records and artwork is limited to team members who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take reasonable safeguards we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
- Give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate data
- Erase your personal data where we no longer need it for a legal or business purpose
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave, such as consent to marketing
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf
Write to us at support@baetags.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Bae Tags is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The revised version takes effect when it is posted on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed. Please review it from time to time.
